RG-DEMUX/MUX Series 48-Port Combiner/Transparent Distribution Device

Used in Simplified Optical Ethernet solution to make distribution nodes passive and provide exclusive Gigabit/10G bandwidth for Fiber-to-The-Room (FTTR)

Models
Series
Highlight Features
  • The 48-port combiner and transparent distribution device provide 48 ports for device access at full load. They use six WDM fibers for transmission, which effectively reduces trunk optical fibers required in buildings.
  • The unique colored optical technology is used to provide exclusive Gigabit/10G bandwidth for indoor use, which meets network requirements.
  • The all-optical network involves only passive devices, exempting ELV rooms from O&M management and making distribution nodes passive completely.
  • All-optical deployment makes upgrade easy. One-time deployment of combiner and transparent distribution device may free you from upgrade worries for ten years.
  • Cooperation with the INC controller to achieve easy and efficient O&M management

RG-DEMUX/MUX Combiner/Transparent Distribution Device

The Simplified Optical Ethernet solution adopts the Ethernet architecture. The transparent distribution device implements transparent transmission from the core network to access network. The network architecture transformation from three tiers to two tiers together with the colored optical Ethernet technology makes distribution nodes passive completely.

The all-optical network involves only passive devices, making distribution nodes passive completely and freeing you from troubles of the ELV rooms

Active devices are replaced by new passive devices. Only optical fibers, combiners, and transparent distribution devices are required between the core side and access side. ELV rooms and power supplies are not required, which effectively reduces line deployment, lowers the device failure rate, and exempts ELV rooms from management and O&M.

The unique colored optical technology implements zero optical splitting and exclusive 1G/10G bandwidth to the room

The combiner and transparent distribution device utilize the unique colored optical technology to implement transparent transmission from the core network to the access network and provide 1:1 exclusive 1G/10G bandwidth to the room. They meet the access requirements of high-bandwidth devices as well as network requirements of terminals.

All-optical deployment, ease of upgrade, flexible expansion of all-optical network

When the bandwidth is upgraded from 10 Gbps to 25 Gbps, the trunk cabling area does not need to be changed. Switches of different rates, combiners, and transparent distribution devices can be replaced or added based on service requirements. The devices are plug and play and supports fast onboarding and expansion.

Cooperation with INC Controller to Achieve Easy and Efficient O&M Management

The switch automatically completes registration and configuration after it accesses the all-optical network, achieving plug and play, no commissioning and fast onboarding.
You can check the link health status, networking alarms and fault sources by INC which dramatically improves the troubleshooting efficiency.
Switches can be flexibly replaced based on service requirements with no need for reconfiguration. Service ports support mixed insertion, facilitating automatic O&M.
